• Canadian Self Storage is not liable for loss or damage to your contents. Since most Homeowners and Tenants insurance policies do not cover goods in storage, we recommend that you purchase a policy to insure your belongings.
• This insurance is especially developed for you and is available upon request at any of our rental offices. It offers the broadest protection available at an affordable price. The maximum under this program is $50,000. You can pay for your insurance along with your rental payment, there's no need to make a separate payment.
• Customer Storage Insurance protects you against most hazards that could cause loss or damage to your valuable belongings.
• Coverage is based on Replacement Cost. Actual cash value (with deduction for depreciation) is provided if items are not replaced.
• This Insurance Policy covers fire, vandalism, burglary, lightning, Impact by Aircraft or vehicle, windstorm, hail.
• In the event of a loss, simply report the incident to our facility manager and we will contact the Insurance company in order to file a claim and will provide you with their information. In case of burglary or theft, you must report the occurrence to the police.
