Canadian Self Storage offers third party insurance policies, specially developed for the self storage industry. It offers broad protection at an affordable price. Premiums are then paid alongside your monthly storage fees for your convenience. Customers with coverage through another policy must provide proof of insurance.

Our facilities are protected with automated gates, accessible by individualized codes. The buildings themselves are lit with perimeter lighting, monitored with video cameras, and are outfitted with a sophisticated fire suppression system. The storage units are secured with locks that we have for sale or, if you prefer, you can bring your own lock - in either event, you retain possession of all keys.

Our leases run month-to-month. Prepayments are not required.

Many storage companies charge every 4 weeks. A monthly schedule is more fair to the tenant. It's easier to keep track of, as rent is always due on the first of the month, as well as being less expensive. We are saving our customers over 8%. To compare the rates, a unit renting at $80 would cost $960 per year on a calendar month schedule, as opposed to $1,040 on a 4-week schedule - an important consideration for our long-term tenants. It is good to keep this in mind when comparing prices.

Typically, we recommend making a reservation two to four weeks in advance to ensure we have the size you require, but, if you find yourself needing something right away, we are sure to accommodate you.
