POLICY

The following information is for your reference. It includes important suggestions and pertinent information about some of our policies. Please read carefully and ask us any questions you may have. Further terms and conditions are set out on your lease.

1. We charge a one-time security deposit of $25 - $50 (depending on locker type). It is refunded with a minimum 30-day written move-out notice, removal of all items from your locker (we do not provide any garbage disposal services) and completion of deposit refund request form at rental office. Refunds are issued in the form of a cheque mailed from head office.
2. Your rent is due on the first day of each month without demand-you will not be invoiced. Do not mail cash! For your convenience, you may leave post-dated cheques, leave a credit card number on file or prepay (NOTE: Prepaid rent is not refundable-ensure you will be staying for the length of time you are prepaying).
   If you mail your payment, allow adequate time for it to reach our office by the due date.
3. A late fee of $10.00 will be charged if your payment is not received by the seventh day of each month. A $25.00 charge will be assessed for all returned cheques.
4. You must come to the rental office and check out with manager after you have vacated your locker. This will ensure that your file is removed from the computer and no future charges will be levied.
5. A full month's fee is charged for checkouts after the seventh day of the month. Checkouts on or before the seventh will be pro-rated.
6. Canadian Self Storage Inc. carries no insurance on your property and assumes no liability for same. You can purchase an insurance policy through our office. The current rate is $4.00 per $1,000 coverage monthly. Speak with one of the managers for further information.
7. Storing flammable, explosive or perishable materials and all food items is strictly prohibited.
8. You must notify us in writing if you change your address, phone numbers, etc. You must also notify us in writing of any credit card information changes if you have left a card number on file.
9. Our regular office hours for 32 Doncaster Avenue are as follows:
   

   Monday to Wednesday	8:00am --- 6:00pm
   Thursday & Friday	8:00am --- 7:30pm
   Saturday	9:00am --- 5:00pm
   Sunday	11:00am --- 5:00pm
   Our regular office hours for 835 York Mills Road are as follows:
   Monday to Friday	8:00am --- 6:00pm
   Saturday	9:00am --- 5:00pm
   Sunday	11:00am --- 5:00pm

10. We sell locks, boxes, tape, newsprint and bubble wrap for your packing needs. Call ahead to ensure that we have adequate stock.
